Pullet very bad eye problem ***PIC***

Let me take another photo, but it doesn't look like puss....it looks like the tissue around her eye.
I agree, in the first photo it does look like the upper eye lid (tissue), but the second one, that looks like pus. If you press on that will any come out? Chicken pus is a semi-hard cheese like substance, you may have to push and pry a bit to get it to come out.

You can make saline at home. The recipe is 1 teaspoon of salt per quart of water. Boil 15 minutes makes it sterile. You can store it up to 24hrs in a sterilized jar, then throw out and make new.

It is infectious coryza. You can treat with antibiotics such as Erythromycin, Dihystreptmycin, Streptomycin sulphonamides, tylosin, and Fluoroquinolones.

Im sorry to say, she will go blind in that eye.
How do you know she will go blind?
OP reports no foul odor or it's not been mentioned, so are you positive it's Infectious Coryza? Could be, but no way to really know except for testing or if symptoms "match".

My problem is I have a husband that will not help me with my chickens and says I'm going over board when it comes to them, so I don't ask him to help!! It's hard when you try and do it yourself!! These birds are my babies and my passion....of course I want them to feel better and take care of them has much as possible!! I'm going to get everything I need tomorrow and I hate to keep bothering you, but can you send me a list of what I need to pick up? She's been on doxy for a week now and it's not helping, but if there is anything else that can help.....please put that on the list. You are there for me again Wyorp Rock!!! Thank you bunches.

She was like this when I was getting re-cert, but not this bad and it came back neg for any infection. We tried gentle pressure last night and nothing. I'm going to do the sterile solution and put some more terramyicin 2 x a day. I'll keep you posted!! I pray this will work

I forgot to ask....how many times a day should I wash her eyes with the solution? Thank you

I would flush the eyes out 2-3 times a day.

If you are having to handle her by yourself, you may want to wrap (swaddle) her in a towel to help capture her wings and legs. This way you have more control. I usually do not hold a bird and try to work on them - I stand or lay them down on a table, this gives me more control too.

It is possible to do this by yourself if necessary, just leave yourself a block of time so you can be patient. Wrap the hen in a towel to help hold her, and if necessary lay her on her back which will help calm her. Just take your time. The pus really needs to come out or you will just be fighting a losing battle. There are a lot more videos on line on removing pus from a chickens eye, do a search, one of them might be more inspiring to you. Sometimes it will come out with some manipulation, sometimes you have to use something to help get it out. I have curettes that I use for all sorts of things on chickens, not sharp, spooned on the ends. There is no telling what the initial cause is/was, could have been viral, could have been injury or debris in the eye. I would do a good rinse, clean it out as well as you can and flush it well. Then use the terramycin twice a day. Once all the pus is out, it should start to improve. You can get a stronger eye drop, but you will need a prescription from a vet, and the pus will still need to come out.
