They’re squatting for you. This means essentially that they would accept a rooster trying to mount them. (It’s pretty disconcerting when they squat for humans!)I've been seeing this, too, in all my 19 week olds. One of them just laid her first egg! I have 2 others who, when I pet them, shrink to the ground, push out their shoulders, and make a gutteral noise.Don't know if that is a Sapphire Gem thing or not? I do mimic their sounds a lot and try to sound sympathetic when I talk human to them and they respond to that. I wish you luck they are beautiful girls
