Thanks 7acres. I am going to put a post in emergencies, etc because I checked them after I was away for a few hrs and I have 2 more with resp symptoms. I need something to prophylacticlyy treat the whole flock as 1 was a 9 mo silver laced wyandotte. Much older than the others.

ok, just got back from the vet with my chickens. they have conjuctivitis. the salution is eye drops called gentamicin sulfate ophthalmic solution usp. drop 1 drop twice a day for 7 days. hopefully this helps you out. good luck

Grayeyes..would u happen to have a picture of ur girls with conjunctivitis?I think my buff orp has it and gave it to one of my black stars. :\ I already separated both but kept them close enough so that they can see their friends. Ive created a forum on mine but not much feedback on treating/diagnosis.
