We just got this little girl on Monday (3 days ago).... we soon figured out she was a Bantam Black Australorp and almost 4 months old. We also figured out her new name, 'Lil Lucy. And.... we figured out she had a crooked beak. She eats and drinks, pecks and chirps fine.... but is this gonna be a problem? Does anyone else's bird have a crooked beak? Just for safety, wondering if this happens alot and is normal.

Hello! She's cute. That doesn't look bad at all--not like cross beak, where their beak actually crosses like an x. (Cross beak is actually a skull deformity.) I don't think it's that. I'm sure she'll be fine.

Ok thanks! I just wanted that reasurrance. I've seen a chick with cross beak (wasn't mine though)... the poor thing got taken by a predator.
