I have a pullet Ameracauna not sure her age we were told 6mo when we bought her 3 weeks ago, but still not laying. We noticed her left eye had drainage. We took her out to check and can see she has a scratch on her eyelid. We rinsed the eye with Normal Saline and put triple antibiotic ointment on it. Is there anything else we can do? Please respond all recommendations appreciated. I am new to having chickens and don't know what to do. I have read a lot on this forum and GREAT advice has been given to others.
