My young EE pullet is sick. Just started laying last month, but i haven't seen an egg from her in a couple days. She's really pale and seems just a tiny bit discoordinated... Sis said she was pooping blood, but I'm not positive. She's still fairly active, just seems a little off. She's in a cage in the coop right now, and she aint happy about it. I'm planning on putting some electrolytes in her water tomorrow morning.
Any ideas? I wouldn't think much of it, but she's been super light colored for two days now. :/

Corid will fix her right up IF it is Coccidiosis.
Do you have some on hand?
I don't - we've never had to deal with cocci in four years of chicken keeping ( :yesss: ). If there's blood in her poop tomorrow I'll see if we can pick some up on the way home from church.

No bloody stool this morning, so i let her out since everybody's locked up. Her comb was a little redder too. :yesss:

If she had questionable poops the yogurt will help add probiotics back to her gut. The other option is Apple Cider Vinegar water. With the mother. Most people swear by Braggs. I don't do them together. Just sounds disgusting.
