Pullet won't stand...

You can give a combo vitE/selenium gel tab (human) > just make sure the selenium content per tab does not exceed 50 MICROgrams.) Give every other day three times (so three tabs in total ONCE a day) and on the alternate days you do not give put three drops of polyvisol in beak once (the B vitamins are recommended with the E/selenium) I have seen that walmart and kmart and many drugstores carry this (compare prices... there is a lot of price variation between brands). This has been shown to help with toxicities. You can also give a bit of bread smeared with peanutbutter in case it was some kind of metal ingested/heavy metal poisoning.
the only "treatment" I know of for botulism is an antidote > it is very expensive and very hard to come by (and would be of no use if nOT botulism)... from your description IF botulism then a very mild case (I had a case of botulism which knocked my bird unconscious and totally paralyzed until she eventually passed on).
Botulism can also be transmitted through things like beetles/insects etc which may have feasted on an infected source (which can sometimes even be a compost heap!)
I would clean my coop out THOROUIGHLY and keep an eye open for any mold or fungus > replace all bedding and deal with any shallow puddles (and rotting material which may be in them)

Agreed with dlhunicorn. The only cases I've ever had of botulism, except one, also passed on. The one I had was pretty severe as it was, and then I used a flush which again I just absolutely am reluctant to ever recommend because it was harsh. The only real way of treating it is, as DLH said, was the antitoxin - but by then you'd have had to have bird to the vet, etc.

My instincts tell me this is something else most likely. But again you absolutely must check everything else out. That's the case with any illness - rule things out always, everything that you possibly can.

I think it's so important to do the house-cleaning and checkup mentioned especially the puddles and looking for decaying vegetation, etc, that they might be getting into since we can't really tell what this is.

Well after resting in the house for a few days she is nearly better. I guess it had to have been an injury because none of the other ideas fit. Thank god! She is my girl "Dirty Hen"...she is a white EE who dirt bathes daily so she is always gray

I'm blaming it on the fact that her sibling roos are getting rather feisty...can't wait to get them on their way! Now even more...

Well this is good news! It could be that she was bullied, stressed, and maybe got into a little something that has passed. Let's hope it's over and that she recovers!
