3 of my pullets are not going inside to sleep. Instead they are trying to sleeping on the top of their coop. My other pullet goes inside at night but those three don't. How can I fix this?
They need a light inside the coop to attract them inside if it is getting dark. But I would lock them all into the coop for a few days to 1 week to show them where home is, and they should all go in at dusk. Most of my chickens will go in without the light, but if my light goes out before dusk, there's always someone who won't go into a dark coop.
