Pullets crowing?

Is this something that happens? I have two Polish adolescent, thought to be pullets that are crowing. If I crow first or one of the roos crows. Is this even possible or do I have a couple of sneaky boys on my hands?

I thought I had a mature hen until one Saturday morning he started crowing!

We had given away all the roosters (we thought) . They were even all the same age! But we had a closet rooster.

I know you can't tell we have never had chickens before these. We rehomed him with a neighbor. We still have 19 hens.
