Why does a pullet eat the poo of another chicken? They are about 15 weeks old and on pullet feed. Are they missing something in their diet.
Also, the pullets do not roost. They all lay in a huddle at night. One of the pullets will rosst, but the others lay in a ball in the corner. What's up?

Did You just introduce them? I know if a dog eats another dogs food (or cat) It is a food defieciency. Try adding some vitamins and minerals and see if it stops. My dog sometimes eats chicken poop when im cleaning the coop

I have other chickens eating the poop. Actually these are my brothers chickens. I am getting mine in the morning. But they have been together for 2 months now.
