I think, THINK, my Welsummer may have laid her first eggs. My 'first eggs', too. New to this business.
I found two mushrooms, I thought at first, in the garden. Had a closer look. Possibly eggs... brown on the outside, soft. What is making identification hard for me is that it's been raining for three days and nights and the mushrooms/eggs had a furry fungus, or roots anchoring them to the ground.
Maybe you're all having a laugh, and that's O.K. "Mad lady" you think - "hoping mushrooms might be eggs... " but I thought I'd check all the same.
