Pullets getting strange black things on their heads

Hi everyone I’ve been seeing some strange things on my pullets for the last month or so . I don’t know what it might be.

It sort of looks like it is caused by rubbing on wire. Have they been reaching through your wire on the run or rubbing their beaks on the wire?

Yes sometimes if they want to get in my other coop they run into the wire . Or if something scares them they jump into the wire
