Pullets killed by puppy. Please click this, I need someone to hug me.

I am so sorry. I can send you a hen that will beat the stuffin's out of anything...which poses its own problems since she goes for the roosters!

Catch the dog and take s/he to the animal control paying a little to get the dog back will do them some good. Maybe the dog will get a better home where they actually pay attention to s/he.

Hmm, just a thought, but you may want to call your animal control and see if they do what is done in some counties here. Animcal Control officers have to actually catch dogs "in the act" on someone else's property or running loose before they can pick it up, so what they do is rent traps out really cheap. You get the trap, catch the dog on your property (hopefully BEFORE it gets any more chickens!!), and then you call them to pick it up or drop it off yourself. The owner then has to bail out the dog or, if they refuse to do so, the dog goes to the animal shelter as a "stray".
If that's a system that's being used in your county, it helps remove any face-to-face confrontations with your neighbor, makes them bail out their dog, and there's a record on file with the authorities about the problem. You can also take one of the deceased chickens and ask for damages before and/or after doing so. Personally, I'd try before, first!
I'm sorry you have to deal with this! Good wishes for a quick solution to the problem and no more avian deaths!
