My 6 white leghorn pullets are 23 weeks old yesterday. About a week ago I was getting at least 5 eggs daily. Two days in a row I got 6 eggs! About one week ago I changed them to Laying granuals instead of the grower they were on. Is that why they dropped to 3-4 eggs a day and now down to only 2 a day? Could it be I have just caught them in the wrong time of year for laying? Eggs have ALL looked very nice. All have been mediums or large. I did get one extra large that turned out to be my ONLY double yolk so far! All weigh 1.8-2.3 ounce and nice shells so I'm pleased with that. They do have grit and oyster shell in seperate bowels also. How long should it take for them to adjust to new feed IF THAT is the problem?
