I bought three french black copper marans chicks yesterday and he had several 8 week old white leghorns given to him and asked if I was interested. I brought two home. Their combs were much smaller and less pink than the others and they were slightly smaller in size. He was told they were all from the same hatch. In the pictures, the one chicken's comb looks more red than the other...that's just the lighting, they are the same colour in real life. So are these pullets or cockerels?

I would wait, you never know with leghorns, they al;l have big combs.

#1 is a girl, but I'm thinking #2 is a boy. Leghorns do have bigger combs even when young but the second one just looks cockerel to me.

They are 8 weeks old I was told. They were a full inch shorter and had smaller combs than the ither 8 or 10 they were housed with. They haven't crowed yet either. I know because they are in my house.
