Pullets or Cockerels

I wanted to see what you all thought about two chickens I have. One is supposed to be a Cuckoo Marans, and the other is supposed to be a Blue Ameruacana.

The Cuckoo Marans is 8 weeks old and the Blue Ameruacana is about 20 weeks old.

Do you think they're male or female?

The Cuckoo Maran is a cockerel and the Blue Ameraucana is definitely a pullet. Pretty chickens!

The blue one in the third pic looks like a roo but i could be wrong. Just a guess from what i can see in the pics. Also your birds are so beautiful!!!

Another thing, the age of maturation is usually 20-25 but it varies per bird.

You have an EE pullet (her color is wrong for an Ameraucana) and a Barred Rock cockerel (Marans have white legs, he has yellow)

I believe that Rae is correct.

I agree with @Redhead Rae. Marans is a Barred Rock "yellow legs" and a cockerel. Your Ameraucana is an Easter Egger and a pullet.

Barred rock is a cockerel and the araucanas are hens!

Are you sure the EE is 20 weeks old? Barred rock is a handsome cockerel.
