Pullets suddenly dying.

I never expected that, I've never seen one act that way. They are usually wary of people, in my experience. My husband said he practically could walk up to it and it wouldn't go, it was trying to fight him.
Young, dumb, hungry, and trapped....maybe injured??
Did you get it out?
Had it been in there over night with doors closed?
And that was how all the birds died, not from any disease?

We got it out we had to chase it with a broom. I felt a little bad for how desperate it was, but I can't feed it my babies. A couple died from Coccidiosis, but the others were dying with no symptoms, and I think they were terrified to death and he managed to kill two of them physically. We were so perplexed we thought maybe they had died and the other chickens were eating them. It was in there for at least two days. They are all doing great now.
