Can you post pics of the RSLs?
I see a mixed-up male in the back.
One male BR, one female.
Oh Lord Almighty. Are you serious? The store said they were all hens!!! I'm sorry for all the questions. But can you explain? Red sex link? Isnt this going to be a problem with 2 Roos? That is a HUGE, RED comb for that age. Too red for a pullet. I'm thinking that this may be a Rhode Island Red, not a red sex link.
If you got them when they were chicks, the store can't tell for sure. Sexed pullets have a 10% chance of being incorrectly sexed and turning out male. Red sex links have roos that hatch out white and hens that hatch out red, so you CAN tell for sure. However, straight run rhode island red chicks and red sex link females look very similar, and feed stores are notorious for getting breeds mixed up. How many other chicks do you have that aren't male?Oh Lord Almighty. Are you serious? The store said they were all hens!!! I'm sorry for all the questions. But can you explain? Red sex link? Isnt this going to be a problem with 2 Roos?
