I have 12 gold comets. They are 6 weeks old. The temps at night get around 40. Can they go outside in the coop? Is it too cold at nights.

Mine are not hardy and Japanese bantam, they dip down into high 40s and are perfectly fine, yours probably will be.

I hear comets are hardy, too, which helps. Something i heard is hardy 6 weeks 40 and non hardy 50s, it seems to be working well for me

It's not too cold at night if they've been off heat and given a few days to acclimate to outside temperatures (if drastically different then brooder temps), they'll be fine.
