Well it's 3 days after hatch date and not one moving/piped/peeping. My hatch rate stunk

but have 24 eggs less than a week old to go in. I waited to long before putting last hatch. Cleaning bator tonight and setting in the AM.

When you clean the bator, put the eggs next to your ear and listen a second. I had a hatch run a degree or so cool, and on day 25 I was clearing it out when I head a faint scratching. Put the eggs back in on day 26 4 hatched. I now give a quick listen before tossing out eggs.

Well 4 days after hatch date nothing moving/piped so I clean bator and set 27 less than a week old.

No need to be sorry I got 5 out of 42. I waited to long to set them hence low hatch %. No I just chucked eggs in the trash.

i hate getting rid of eggs, but i have a funny feeling that i will have to get rid of the batch i have in right now. I have bantam ameraucanas and ee's in and ive never seen the ameraucana roo do his business, but the ee roo has been but its muddy outside so i can tell who he has been "friends" with and i dont think its been with the hens laying eggs!
