pumkins do I feed it raw? is it really good for them?

My chicks and ducks love pumpkin. I slice mine with a food processor for the ducks and put in a tub of water. For the chickens I cut head size holes and laugh my butt off watching them.
Freeze it sliced up in freezer bags also.
