I have my pumpkin out on the porch. Maybe i will bring it in and work on it tonight.

You guys... I finished carving my pumpkin! Now time for the bleach so it lasts longer and wait til it’s night so we can take a pic!!!! I’m confident that I will not win!

I wish I had chooks already so I can feed this to someone... feels like a waste!

We cut off the bottom of the pumpkin instead of the top to prevent rotting. 5 days away!

Never heard of the bleach trick to make a pumpkin last longer. Do you just kind of swab it all over?

Yeah, I googled it. You just mix some bleach with water and brush it all over.

Never hear of that but then could not feed them to the birds after either

Oh right! I forgot— you can’t feed the pumpkin to the chooks after. I don’t have any chickens yet but next year is going to be different.
