Took advantage of the nicer weather to get some pumpkins in the ground. This is our 1st round of pumpkins going in, with the 2nd batch to follow in a few weeks.
First, my wife help to install the irrigation hoses. We try to automate everything we can on the farm to save us time.
Baby "practicing" digging holes. She was using my trapping trowel, would hop on it with both feet. Wiggle it around, and then sit on the handle to "pop" the dirt out.
Each plant gets 2# of rabbit manure compost & some calcium supplements.
We had plenty of help!
