Was going to ask this same question, love the search option, lol. Oh and my Walmart already has there pumpkins marked at $1.00 starting today, guess I will go get a few more to store as treats later.
Pumpkins at Wal-Mart here are at $.78!! My girls love them and only leave the rind behind. I hope to stock up on some next weekend and put them into the storage cellar to use through the winter.
Just yesterday I had got 3 of the small pumpkins about softball size and just cut one in half and threw it in the chicken coop. They loved it!!!! The seeds were small enough for them to just gobble up whole. Im going to put another one in tomorrow for them.
I experimented with pumpkins this year. The girls love them. They even ate all of the meat and most of the rind! I was a bit surprised...It was hilarious to watch them scratch the guts out of the pumkin halves! Happy Holloween to the girls!!

I was kinda wondering the same thing. I know pumpkin seeds are a dewormer, along with buttermilk. They ate a lot of pumpkin on Saturday and I haven't seen anything different or out of the ordinary with them. They just want more I think!
