Just saw the tape of this morning's event again. He did NOT see his shadow, which alledgedly means there will be an early spring.

Frankly, a groundhog is not my idea of a reliable forecaster, but I don't believe the humans either!

Ok... if the poor old Phil managed to dig his way out of the deep DEEP snow drifts that piled up here last night. He would have seen his shadow here....Pecatonica, IL. But then again... it IS 6weeks 4 days (via the calandar) either way to the first day of Spring March 20.
