Puppy and chick socialization techniques?

Hey All! I have 10 chicks and a 3 month old lab. The few times I held chicks out for her to get acquainted with she was literally drooling and licking her lips. She is a stubborn little thing, and may be the first one I'll have to do formal training with.

What are the common techniques used for socializing dogs to chicks?

Bump. I keep showing the pup the chicks, but she sits patiently waiting for me to give her one! Any suggestion? Thanks!
