I would try keeping the puppy away from the goats until it's healthy & comfortable with his or her new home, then it should have more confidence to run & play with the goats & avoid being violated by the goats. My friend is a professional dog trainer I can ask for her advice if need be.

Could we maybe avoid jokes about sexual assault turning things gay, and the idea that "gay" means "screwed up"?

In addition to helping the dog's confidence, you should probably also try to discourage the goats. It might help his confidence a little if you do something like spray the goats with a hose so they're less inclined to bother him.

This book even starts heeling off leash. Unfortunately for my latest dog my husband didn’t want to follow the book and I had an exacerbation of my fibro so my girl is only partially trained.

One of the things you train is having them get on a sturdy box. Eva loved doing this! I had her outside and had to run inside for a minute. When I came out she was sitting valiantly on a box waiting for me. I guess she was hoping that doing something good would bring me back. I almost cried it was so cute!

Aw that is awesome!! I loving having dogs jump up on things aha they usually love it and it’s fun
