Puppy Food

So, its been a while since I've had puppies - and I'm wondering when its OK to stop the puppy chow and feed adult food. My new baby De Soto is a great pyr/doberman mix, 4 months old, haven't weighed him yet but he's probably a good 45 lbs.

Depends on the food. You should avoid ANY food that is mostly corn, wheat or soy.

I recommend Taste of the Wild, Innova EVO, CORE Wilderness or BG.

I use Taste of the Wild for my cats, but they have a dog version too.

You can take him off puppy food right now, no worries.

I think any food other than supermarket-bought food is good

Thanks, I'll start making the switch over to what my big boys are eating (Nutro - large breed). I have a feeling this boy is going to eat me out of house and home soon - grandpa has nicknamed him big foot!
