Puppy is in heat AGAIN-twice in 3 months

I had a dog exposed to her littermate for about ten minutes when she was in season. Didn't see if anything happened, took her right to my vet and asked for a mismate shot and he said the shot was probably worse for them than having an inbred litter at ten months old. He said those shots can really mess up their hormones and render them possibly sterile. I opted out of the shot, and she was not bred, so it all ended up fine, but I was really surprised about what he said about mismate shots.

Time to build her a secure second home and put her up. I don't think I'd give her another mismate shot back to back. Better off to spay and place her if you are not set up right to keep males and females apart. I am not trying to sound mean, but you might not be ready yet for breeding rare breed high maintenece dogs. It just complicates everything that she is hairless. Good luck. Hopefully she is not in standing heat yet.

My vet said last time that I should do the shot & that it would not affect her if she was not pregnant. We possibly use different chemicals being in different countries. I never saw her anywhere near another dog & she lives indoors but she got large teats & I wasn't prepared to take a chance.
I am perfectly capable of keeping her in my house & away from other dogs. My two are not a problem as they are permanently separated anyway. The problem is that she goes nuts from boredom when left alone all day even with the huge amount of toys & chews she has. She has been locked up for a month until just two months ago & it took me over a month to solve all the damage she did to herself. She scratched til she bled like she had allergies (she does not) & she licked holes in herself. I spent a lot of money on vet bills trying to work out what was going on & it turned out to be psychological. She doesn't have separation anxiety, she just gets bored.

ETA. Here she is 2 seconds ago in bed with me:

I don't think it would be responsible for me to get another dog at this stage. I'm working for up to 12 hours a day & it's hard to give attention to the ones I have. Also Ellah is a little bit overboard with the playing which is why my dogs are separated in the first place. Big dogs cut her skin & smaller ones get annihilated by her. At home she has to be crated if I'm not there because she would destroy a room if left alone, friend with her or not.

AHTs are terriers first, for sure.

I would put some pretty fancy pants on her - I don't know what's available there but something nicer than a diaper if possible - and I would bathe her frequently and put her on chlorophyll so she doesn't smell as good to the boys and I'd get her out and about before she eats your walls again. I certainly can't shut down my entire life when I have an in-heat girl; they go to shows and they run around in the woods and they act like normal dogs. I just make sure there's no opportunity for breeding. I've never had stray dogs show up and I think you could easily avoid it if you don't let her mark around the corners of your workplace building. Make sure she piddles before she leaves home in the morning and either bring pads or carry her down the street before you let her piddle near work.

If she's the only AHT in Israel, are you planning on breeding her elsewhere? If she's not going to be bred, just cut bait and spay her before she drives you crazy. If she IS going to be bred, maybe consider sending her to the stud dog owner at the very first sign of heat next time so she can spend the two weeks playing with the boy instead of chewing herself up.

I have some heat pants with pads for her though I'm not sure how effective they are as it will be my first time using them. What do you mean by "put her on chlorophyll?" I seem to remember that from my Ecology flora studies. She's only about 10 months old so no breeding for another year or so but when I do, I'll bring in semen from abroad cause if I felt like importing/exporting, I'd be better off buying a new puppy & just fixing this one.

She's a cute dog----for dog-lovers like me, but I can't help notice how much she resembles pictures of the Chupacabra. Sorry, but she really does!

She looks more like a Dobby (Harry Potter) character to me. I took her to work & all went well thus far.
