Puppy pads?

Have any of you ever used puppy training pads in you brooder/indoor housing? I'm buying this.... http://www.amazon.com/Ware-Manufact.../ref=lh_ni_t?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

For when they are done with the brooder to keep indoors, and I was about to buy washable pads for the inside, but then happened across the disposable puppy pads. They would be well absorbant and have odor control as well. I could change them a couple times a day. They come in packs of 100 for $25.00.

Have you tried them? I think it would be a lot easier to clean than shavings!

I've been brooding mine in a pool, and I put the puppy pads under the waterer with shavings on top. Soaks up a ton of water! I don't know about using them all alone tho.

I could do that too! Just a thin layer. I'm trying to make it easy to keep clean as they will only be housed indoors until they are off to the farm.
We will spend a lot of time out doors as well, but they will sleep indoors.
