I sell my chickens on Kijiji and on websites. I like to purchase from breeders around Canada

I like to purchase from Meyer Hatcheries. They are very reliable

I found my original flock on Craigslist. Five, 3 month old pullets...just what I was looking for. The couple selling them had purchased them as chicks from our local farm store, so they are originally hatchery birds (Townline to be exact). The experience was great, but with the exception of the buff orp that died at 1 1/2 from internal laying, they are MEAN! People friendly, but chicken to chicken mean. My newest 3 birds are from 2 different backyard breeders. Their temperaments are polar opposite of the hatchery birds. So for me, no more hatchery birds, breeder bred only.
If I ever sell, I will post for sale here on this website or Craigslist.
