Do these look like pure breed speckled sussex or a hybrid. Buddy told me they are pure breed. Need some closure.

They certainly look like pure Speckled Sussex. They appear to have the correct comb type (single), the correct skin color (white/pink), and the correct coloration (mahogany red with black and white flecks).
X2 on both of the above posts.They look purebred to me. Is there a reason you're asking?
edited to add....speckling is recessive, so a bird with only one speckled parent won't be speckled. To have a speckled bird, both parents must carry the correct genes. Makes it pretty likely they're pure bred.
