Pure white button x normal, what would the results be.

I had my normal buttons hatch a pure white chick. As its only hours old I don't know the sex and that will be hard even when it grows up. If it lays its a girl!!!
The parents are unrelated, so it was just a fluke that this recessive gene popped out.
Here in Australia white buttons are so very rare. I want to see if I could get some more by breading back to one of the parents to see if I can get more pure white babies.
So if its a boy will breed back to the mother and if its a girl with dad. (thank god they are not humans or that would be ewwwwie)
Could someone please tell me what might the results be if I did this?

it would be an inbred chick still with the problems that come along with them. if mom and dad did it once they can again

I agree with granny. Do not breed this chick with a parent bird, it can and very well might have health or other troubles. The white gene is in one of the parents just let them mate and you should get more. Of course it would be wise to find another pair of unrelated birds to mate with these new chicks. Most Buttons colors are so mixed that you can and do get lots of different colors from one pair of parents. Good luck.

Here in Australia we do not have the mix of colors you people do in the US or even UK. I have been breeding this pair for a couple of years now and this is the first time this has happened.
I look at pictures of normal pairs in the US and then they have a rainbow of colored chicks. This I'm afraid does not happen here. There are only three easily found colors easily available in my state and that is normal, silver and caramel.
I have mixed bred silver and normal and would always get normal.
Silver with silver, always got silver.
Caramel with caramel, always got caramel.
Normal to normal, always got normal, except for now.
I am very envious of you guys over there with all your beautiful color selection.
I also have a caramel hen who mated with the same male on eggs. Hopefully something interesting will come out of this pairing, but they will probably all come out normal.
I don't like inbreeding, but with our limited stock in this area, its worth an experiment to see what results and mean while I will keep my eye out for some new blood to introduce to our flock.

Was able to get a photo of some of the new chicks this morning, including the little white one.
See its not a silver. I have hatched silver chicks before from silver parents and they look blonde/grey/silver right from the start. This little guy is so pale with no silver/grey at all.
I still think this is so freaky. I hope my quail give me some more surprises like this one this year.

No it doesn't have pink eyes, just the normal color. Nature is so weird.
