Purely Poultry order

I just put my first order in with Purely Poultry. I have not ever tried them and like to try new hatcheries every year while still placing orders with my favorite one.

I only ordered 25 pullets but I ordered buff Orps, dark Brahmas, buff Brahmas, Partridge Rocks and Easter Eggers. I will watch them grow up, probably sell a few since I do not need them all and see how they rate with the ones from my other hatcheries.

That puts me up over 200 chicks and ducklings I have coming in this spring. I really need to get the last 200 I hatched out of my brooder room and into the shed so I can scrub things down. I love to hatch but it is sure nice to know I will get a majority of pullets from ordering, too.

I have used them. Mine shipped from Privett but the customer service at PP was so much better than Privett's-do they have customer service

it's just nicer and easier to use PP
You know I'm a hatch-a-holic but when it comes to my egg laying flock it's just easier to order pullets and be done with it than try to get rid of excess more common roosters.Save that bator space for the fun stuff.

I thought the prices were good, too. I ordered 25 chicks and shipping is still $20 for chicks under 100 ct. but I have never had dark Brahmas and wanted to try them. I love buff Brahmas so I think the darks will be a nice add to my free range flock.

And I do like to deal with nice people at customer service. Hope I never need to but it would be nice to talk to a friendly person rather than a rude one.
