Purina Cat Food Recall! Colorado, Idaho and Oregon

I am in Washington--but I noticed last night when I went to buy cat food, the shelves were bare? So our Wal-Mart must have pulled them to be safe? I don't know....

because of this, I NEVER buy ANYTHING from Purina
i just dont trust them.

Purina is awful to feed to a cat or dog. Just look at the ingredients. Mostly corn and other fillers with little meat. Cats are obligate carnivores, not cattle

I use Purina too sometimes. I switch around all the different brands available. Have the Grillers flavor in the cupboard now in the 6# bag. It's not on the list & almost empty, so I'm not worried. But, may avoid Purina the next time I buy.

Our cats all love Purina Cat Chow. Beautiful coats. So does this mean we'll have to switch to something else and go through all the puking till they get used to it?

Does this go for dog food too? I feed my dog purina dog food and he has been barfing for a while. He's at the vets right now too...

It's a very minor recall. Our type is not on the list of 3 cat foods they listed. So I'll be able to sleep tonight.

Good heavens! I have only used Purina Cat Chow for almost 30 years now. My oldest cat lived to be 22 and 1/2. I have several over 10 years old and a couple over 15. I'm not switching. I think it works for me and I'm not in the recall areas.
