Purina Feeders!

I only have two layers and I get a dozen eggs a week. I don't think the feed is the difference, these two are just laying machines. An Australorp and a Red Star.

again, I am using flock raiser and free choice oyster shell.

I haven't seed anyone post a difference in the size of their eggs with the layena.

I use Purina Flock Raiser also with the many different fowls I have. To compare against Orscheln's layer (I know that is not what you asked, but...) I really didn't noticed much difference. Still healthy birds. I didn't notice a change in layer behavior or egg production either. All my chickens, ducks, geese and turkeys get to free range a lot too.

On the other side of the fence........we butchered 6 turkeys in the last month and they had a good layer of fat on them. They have been on flockraiser from the time I bought them home (April 2009 til Oct.) So, to me that is an added benefit if you plan to butcher excess roos, turkeys etc.
BTW, IAK welcome to the coop!
