Purina Mills Food recall in Eastern US

Well, is this number on the tag? which is no longer on my bag.

or is there somewhere else that I can check on the bag. I have a 50 lb. bag of Purina starter and have lost several 7 week old chicks already...they stopped eating it and wasted away.

I thought it was coccidia but there was no diar. and Sulmet didn't seem to work. Have since switched to Dumor (TSC) chick starter. Have horses too and am glad I don't use Purina for them! Stopped buying Purina cat food months ago. Grrrrrrrrrrrr. Terrible ingredients.

Yes, the number would be on the tag. Contact your feed store and maybe they can tell you if they had any of the re-called grains. I'm sorry about the chicks but that could be what happened?
