What is a better feed, nutrena or Purina layer feed?

Not familiar w/ nutrena but I feed my layers Purina layer plus omega and alternate it with organic feeds w/ our local supplier grown and mixed here in our area. I think Nutrena cost less.

The Purina Omega-3 feed is intended to boost the amount of omega 3 fatty acids in the eggs for human consumption. It's not that the hens need the higher level.

How much more does it cost then the normal layer feed?

It's the same dollar but the omega 3 plus is in 40 lbs bag instead of 50, at least @store I buy it from in Ohio

Yea, Omgea 3 Layena is about 7 cents more per pound than the regular Layena.
