Purina Organic Chicken Crumbles

Has anyone else had this issue? I just opened a bag tonight to mix up feed for the girls in the morning. Ewwww!! Definitely had a weird smell to it! Kind of like a chemical smell. I can't see giving this to my girls in the morning. I don't usually use Purina feed but an organic feed from Tractor Supply. This was another feed store I was at that carried Purina so bought it instead. Any thoughts as to what to do or whether anyone else has had this problem? Wouldn't feed it to my family if it was people food and had this funky smell!!

Return it to the store if possible, and explain what the issue is.

I wouldn't use any feed that smelled or looked off.

I probably will although it'll be tough since I've opened the bag and trying to get it there and not spill it.

The store should understand that if you didn't open the bag, how would you know it was off. The Purina Organic I've used didn't have a chemical odor. But then again, my wife tells me I can't smell anything anyway.
