some people dye chicks, unless you mean a lavender bird??

If you are looking for lavender birds, I know of a place south of NOLA that is breeding lavender Marans, he ships both chicks and eggs. I can give you his web site if you are interested. Don't know if you have to PM me for that, per site rules.

I'm not sure how to PM you for the info, but I am interested in the lavender Marans. I bought some hatching eggs of Lav Marans in the spring. Only one hatched, but the person was very nice & sent me some chicks. I now have 8 of them. I don't want anymore right now, but might at a later date.
