Hello,
I have a hen that is about 2yrs old.
Today I noticed she had a purple spot at the end of her comb.
I believe that when the comb and wattles are fully purple, that the chicken is pretty dead. So, does this mean she is going to die? Her wattles are a normal reddish pink. She is also eating, drinking and walking around normal. In the pecking order, I'd say she is in the middle, so she is not getting picked on a lot. A have a picture below, she is molting so, don't mind her half bald head
I don't know if you can cure this problem, but please, help!
