purple comb on oegb

i just noticed today that my oegb (chestnut) has some purple on the edge of her comb, her behavior seems normal and she doesn't seem sick. she has been sort of on and of broody for the last week and sitting on the nest for a few hours and then getting off (also not laying eggs). help would be appreciated. thankyou

I would get her drinking water and break her from her broody spell. Poultry NutriDrench could give her a boost. A little scrambled egg or tuna would not hurt. A dog crate or pen with food and water and a roost, but no bedding is how I do it.

Her comb sure is bright red for hen that isn't laying. She is probably going through hormonal swings. My oeg bantam hens started laying again too, the spring hormones are starting to jump!

Hoping they will be kind enough to go broody in 2 months when there are feed store chicks available.
