Purple comb

Hello, I just lost my rooster a day ago. He seems to be running a high fever and couldn’t stand for long. It came upon him quickly and I found him Sunday morning One of my other hens has what seems like an eye issue and her comb is purple. What can I do for her? She’s acting normal otherwise. I put VetRx on her and antibiotic ointment in her eye.

Is the entire comb purple? Or is it just the tips? If it's the entire comb, she may have a cardio/pulmonary issue (heart disease). If it's merely the tips that are dark, it's likely from stress, and should be temporary.

It’s just the tips. I can see her being under some stress because of losing my rooster. She followed him wherever he went along with the four hens he grew up with.
