One of my delawares is laying purple eggs... it turns brown when I wash it... (they've been laying in strange places... like poo...) and then when it dries, it turns purple again... kind of a maroon/brown/purple, but certainly different... what's the deal? The picture is of a regular brown egg, the purple egg (with a swipe of water on it so you can see the strange color change business) and a EE egg...
