Normally on the quail forum, but wanted to share a photo here of our wild purple finch chicks nesting in a basket outside.

They are adorable. Now have to go look them up to see what they will look like all grown up

We have had a few purple finches swing by our feeders this spring!

Thanks for the comments. It's fun to share the photos. We also have some chickadee chicks, but haven't been able to get a good photo since they are nesting inside a box. Really enjoy feeding these birds, and then having them stick around to raise their young. Here is what the male purple finch looks like as an adult (not my photo)
