Huh, they sure look like one of the dark-skinned and dark-everything breeds. I see in McMurray's description that Bresse "should" have blue legs, but I don't know why the rest of the bird is dark! The meat should be safe to eat, although I don't know what to think about that lung. It doesn't look normal for any color of chicken.
