Thanks for the pictures! That is an unusual bird. I was expecting to see small purple spots all over it, but I see that the "spots" are small areas of the purple color with normal white pearling embedded in the purple color. Would those areas be closest to the Royal Purple color? I have heard of a two-tone color that Michael Mason, formerly of Mason's Hatchery in Oklahoma, had been developing prior to closing down his hatchery. I wonder if your new color could be two-tone, or maybe a reverse pied? Interesting that it breeds true. Good luck with your continued breeding of this color!
