i am interested to see the birds of your new "super guinea" lol

Pix finally added! Thanks for your patience! This is our busiest time of year at County Line Hatchery.

Thanks for the pictures! That is an unusual bird. I was expecting to see small purple spots all over it, but I see that the "spots" are small areas of the purple color with normal white pearling embedded in the purple color. Would those areas be closest to the Royal Purple color? I have heard of a two-tone color that Michael Mason, formerly of Mason's Hatchery in Oklahoma, had been developing prior to closing down his hatchery. I wonder if your new color could be two-tone, or maybe a reverse pied? Interesting that it breeds true. Good luck with your continued breeding of this color!

They are close to Royal Purple, but if you don't look at them closely as keets, you can easily mistake them for a White African.

Correction: These do not breed true. I misunderstood the breeding to get these. Sorry all!

Well, they are very pretty anyway.

I'm sure you'll find a market for them whether they breed true or not. Thanks for letting us know.

Of course! I misunderstood Dustin, who is in charge of the breeding for our Guinea's and Peafowl.
