Monarc - So that is what the curly looks like. I think I may have one too. I thought it was just from the males mating her. I will try to take a pic tomorrow and show you and see what you opinion is... if she is or isn't.

To cute looks like a big curly button! The only warning I have is sometimes the others will pick at the curly feathers cuz they look funny to them or something so keep an eye on that.
I may have to get some of those!

has she been that way since she was about 10 days old? Or just reciently? I ask because the males mating the hens will make the back feathers look pretty icky...but if she was feathered that way from the time her feathers came in i'd say so.

it is probly the latter. I don't remember any ruffled feathers that was out of the ordinary as chicks. But from now on I will keep my eyes peeled!
