Purpleish spot in egg

Just wanted to share this weird egg I came across today! It’s got a purplish color on the bottom. It’s from my cuckoo maran hen who always lays a different egg (color and specks differ almost every day)

Marans do occasionally have what I like to call egg "color application" oddities, like that spot. It does make you do a double-take, though, doesn't it?
