What do you guys think. This is my new addition and the ends looks purple....We have only had her 3 days, but she doesn't seem to be in any distress. She is eating, pooping, drinking and running around like normal. She is 8 months old and I am not sure if she had laid an egg for us or not. I think I know which one is still laying....we just got the light put in today.
This same chicken also has a skin issue going on so I don't know if that has something to do with it or not. We thought it was from being with a rough roo, but now not so sure. The first day she was pecking at herself....the others were not....so we assumed it was itching. She is leaving it along now and it is looking better. Should I be really worried about her? What should I do?? Thanks for any suggestions!
It appears it is scabbed over where it once might have been bleeding.
